Hi, I’m Katie. In 2010, I hosted my very first trivia night at a hotel bar in Missoula, Montana.

What began as one trivia night has grown into a game that's played every week in bars, breweries, community centers across the country and on more than 30 United States Air Force bases across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Germany, and the U.K.

Along the way, one thing has never changed:

I love writing trivia.

I'm endlessly curious and always collecting interesting facts. Whether I'm reading a book, listening to a podcast, or traveling somewhere new, I'm constantly wondering, "How can I turn that into a trivia question?" Over the years, I've developed a knack for turning fascinating information into questions that are fun, fair, and memorable.

To me, trivia has always been about more than keeping score; it's about bringing people together.

I've watched strangers become teammates, regulars become friends, and bars transform a slow weeknight into one of their busiest nights of the week.

That's why I always say:

With trivia, everybody wins.

Yes, there's research showing that trivia challenges your brain, boosts memory, sparks healthy dopamine, and encourages social connection. But after more than 16 years of hosting and writing games, I've seen the greatest benefit firsthand— great trivia creates great communities.

That's the reason I still love writing every single question.

Trivia night is good for people, and good for business.
